1. About the Role

At Glev, we're reimagining how software is secured by combining deep application security expertise with the power of AI agents. As an AppSec Specialist, you’ll sit at the core of that mission — ensuring the quality and relevance of the data our platform uses, and embedding your security know-how into our product, our processes, and our go-to-market efforts.

You won’t just be “in charge of AppSec” — you’ll be part product, part platform strategist, and part customer-facing expert. From fine-tuning agent behavior to supporting sales teams and speaking at expert events, your impact will be both technical and strategic.

2. How You’ll Shape Our Product and Practice

  • Own the quality of our security data

    Help Glev's AI agents converge toward relevant, actionable insights by analyzing scanner outputs, refining prompts, and feeding them the right context. Your expertise ensures our platform delivers high-quality tasks and triaged issues that matter.

  • Embed AppSec savoir-faire into our product

    Continuously iterate on our AppSec knowledge base, testing and validating new approaches to vulnerability triage and remediation with real-world use cases and technical modules.

  • Be the AppSec voice at Glev

    Secure our internal development processes, lead AppSec research and watch activities, and provide expert feedback to the product and engineering teams based on platform usage and field experience.

  • Support our customers and our growth

    Work hand-in-hand with sales and customer success teams to support prospects and users, explain our value proposition, and ensure the platform meets real-world needs.

  • Represent Glev in the security community

    Speak at webinars, contribute to technical content, and represent Glev at key industry events and conferences.

3. What You’ll Bring

  • Minimum 5 years as an AppSec Engineer, Security Champion, or similar
  • Strong experience in vulnerability triage and working with security scanners (SAST, SCA, secret scanning, etc.)
  • Comfortable working in a remote environment: self-driven, communicative, and respectful of team rhythms and personal balance
  • Fluent French and professional-level English, both written and spoken

Bonus points for:

  • A background as a software engineer
  • A strong interest in generative AI and regular use of AI tools
  • Experience working with clients (as a freelancer, consultant, or solution engineer)
